Botox

Botox reduces fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing underlying muscles that cause creases. Botox is most often used for lines between the eyebrows, across the forehead and around the eyes (crow’s feet). It typically takes 7-10 days to kick in and lasts about 3-4 months. Filler

Fillers help immediately reduce the appearance of wrinkles and deep creases. Making skin more youthful looking, fillers add volume and help erase and fill in lines and folds around the face. They are most often used to enhance the cheek bone, lips, and to diminish lines around the nose and mouth. Results last 6-24 months, depending on the product and amount used.

Intense Pulsed Light

IPL/ Photo Rejuvenation

Intense Pulse Light, or IPL, is a non-invasive treatment used to help sun spots, broken blood vessels, rosacea, age spots, and tighten the skin. It is best to avoid tanning beds, self-tanners, or prolonged sun exposure 2 weeks prior to your treatment and 1 week after. Most individuals need multiple treatments to achieve optimal results.

Microdermabrasion & Chemical Peels

These procedures are meant to exfoliate the outer layer of the skin, creating a refreshed, smooth feel and appearance to the face. Exfoliating the outer layer of skin allows for chemical peels to penetrate deeper into the tissue allowing for better results. Chemical peels, depending on which is used, can improve clogged pores, acne, sun damage, rosacea, and other skin concerns. For best results, microdermabrasions and chemical peels are recommended in a series every 4-6 weeks. Discontinue topical Retina and similar products 3 days before.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is another way to exfoliate dead skin and also remove vellus hair (“peach fuzz”) from the face. It leaves your skin feeling and looking very smooth, allowing for a perfect canvas for makeup. It also helps to pull and remove stubborn clogged pores. Usually lasts 4-6 weeks.

Microneedling

Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling is a method of creating micro-injuries into the skin’s surface, triggering collagen and elastin to be produced for up to 8 weeks. It is performed in a precise and controlled manner with a sterile needle head. Prior to the treatment, you will have a topical numbing cream applied so you’ll experience little to no pain. It can improve fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, pore size, acne scarring, stretch marks, skin texture & tone, skin laxity and overall appearance of skin. We recommend a series of 2-3 treatments performed every 4 weeks for best results. New collagen and elastin formation has been documented to still be present as much as one year later from just a single treatment!

VI Peel

Medical Cannabis

Medical cannabis — also referred to as medical marijuana — is an alternative, plant-based medicine used to relieve several different symptoms and diseases. You will have a personalized physical assessment by our medical provider who can certify you for a medical cannabis card, if deemed appropriate. This certification needs to be renewed annually. 

BEFORE making your appointment:

-You must register and get approved through the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission. (May take up to 45 days to receive this ID number) Bring this number with you to your appointment.

 Also bring the following:

-A current driver's license or state issued photo ID

-A printed copy of your last primary care visit 

-A list of any prescription, over-the-counter, or natural medications 

-Once approved, you may go to any licensed dispensary to purchase medical cannabis.
